 Over the past several years, the AGC has brought wide-spread media coverage regarding the annual commemoration of the Armenian Genocide, including a 2020 food-drive, which culminated in the collection of funds that enabled Feeding America to provide over 5,000,000 meals to those who found themselves in the predicament of food insecurity following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The AGC also produced television programming where community, state and federal officials had an opportunity to remember the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide, acknowledged the perpetrated crimes against humanity, and advocated for restorative justice for the atrocities.  The Committee also takes part in organizing demonstrations before the Turkish Consulate where our community’s demands for justice and reparations are delivered directly to the Turkish government
